AsTeRICS Grid
What is it?
AsTeRICS Grid is a free and open source software created by the AsTeRICS Foundation. The creators define AsTeRICS Grid as ‘a web based tool for augmented and alternative communication’. It allows the creation of ‘grids’ that can be chained together and that allow each grid cell to contain different configuration options (contain a label or image, link to another grid, open a resource, play a message, write, among many other options). In short, it is an alternative to support communication and participation of people with difficulties in this area or to promote accessible access to resources for people with motor difficulties.
