Why is it a good practice of the Person-Centered Model?
The aim is to promote people with disabilities’ employment by enhancing their digital skills and competences to support a remote working scheme through the development of a more resilient digital educational scheme for both training providers and trainees. In this view, VET providers and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) associations will be equipped with useful tools (Training Course, VET Trainers Certification, Open Learning Platform) to effectively respond to their stakeholders’ needs and will provide its trainers with improved knowledge for delivering training to people with disabilities.
Integrated Assessment (Person, Family, Housing) and Life History
While implementing the project partners started with state analysis report which discovered that Hiring disabled individuals can help the business in many different areas. One of them is the technological factor. Bringing a person with a disability into the company pushes management systems and communication channels to open and include technological advances. The company is likely to create, integrate and further improve its hybrid or remote working models and to go a step further in developing its internal systems such as CRM, Intranet and internal websites, G suite and etc.
Personalised Care and Support Plan for the Life Project
After the state analysis report, main conclusions obtained are as follows: 1. Existing technologies are not sufficient or not adequately integrated in the learning system.
Support groups
Assistive technology tools have been developed for the people with hearing, visual, congnitive and physical impairment. Training material is composed of the main training e-course in the e- platform.
Case Management and Resource Coordinator
The project’s website contains useful theoretical and practical information – digital solutions, assistive technologies, for all participants in VET sector or Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) associations , also employers and employees with disability.
