Why is it a good practice of the Person-Centered Model?
Children’s illustrated tactile books, supplemented with Braille, become a connecting link between sighted and blind individuals, as well as children with special needs.
Integrated Assessment (Person, Family, Housing) and Life History
Blind individuals (children, parents, or grandparents), when reading books together with their sighted relatives, experience the joy of reading and a sense of closeness. Braille is the writing system for the blind; by learning it, they can write words, read information intended for them, and enjoy reading books.
Personalised Care and Support Plan for the Life Project
Reading Braille books and exploring tactile illustrations play a significant role in the life of a blind person – these are essential tools that develop their sense of touch, memory, enrich vocabulary, and foster artistic perception, inner culture, and creativity. Reading tactile books also has a highly positive impact on the development of children with special needs, as well as on their self-awareness and understanding of the surrounding environment.
Support groups
Parents, grandparents, and guardians living with blind children. Educators working with blind children.

Inspiring ideas for other enviorments. It can works! 😉
Blind people want to feel just like everyone else. Children with visual impairments want to read together with their loved ones, and blind parents want to read with their children… This project brings the joy of reading to people who experience the world not through sight, but through other senses.
